PANORAMA SOBRE MODELOS HBIM PARA FACILITIES MANAGEMENT

Abstract

BIM platform offers the possibility of digital construction of building, which is a significant change in design process currently adopted. However, the possibilities offered go far beyond the design phase. This paper is part of an ongoing PhD thesis that proposes using heritage building information modelling (HBIM) for facilities management. Facilities Management (FM) involves managing processes, people and spaces in which maintenance management is one of the FM areas and is the focus of this paper. Three case studies about the theme are described and the BIM model of the Gustavo Capanema Palace is presented, which will be used to experiment the possibilities offered for the management of this heritage built. The results indicate the need to plan and define the use of model before its construction, in order to allow the correlation with the operation management software.
