Abstract

Considering the relevance of "living", there is a need to investigate how city dwellers live and what are the impacts resulting from these occupations. Furthermore, it is also important to evaluate the environmental quality of living, since housing influences multiple aspects of the daily lives of the inhabitants, deeply marking their quality of life, and their expectations and possibilities of future development. On the other hand, the evaluation processes have been increasingly taking advantage of new information, communication and interface technologies to achieve their goals, becoming more efficient, educational and collaborative. Technological innovations related to themes such as Internet of Things (IoT), Augmented Reality (AR), sensors and Global Positioning Systems (GPS) information have been studied to be incorporated in the POE processes, challenging traditional methods. This article, therefore, seeks to revisit concepts related to POE and the technologies cited and to understand the current level of production on such subjects through a literature review, besides learning about new challenges for the next steps of this process. The paper demonstrates part of the research developed by the group [MORA], which intends to discuss and improve new methodologies for APO and digital interfaces.
