Abstract

The urban design of the cities located between the tropics dates back to the period of Portuguese and Spanish colonization, each one of which follows a pattern for the implantation of the cities. However, this implantation is more planned than it would be, it did not fit all the light categories present in the Brazilian territory. In addition, standard-related issues were worked on based on and not focused on local specificity, which implied in city standards that sometimes became extremely burdensome for people involved in the implementation of the standard. In this way, this article aims to help people to engage in urban networks and their relationship with urban sustainability and the environment as a bias towards an urban reorganization. As the methodological one, a literature review was done on the demand of available materials on a tool, seeking the connection with the comfort standards and urban designs of the cities. It should be noted that this article is not exhaustive as the possibilities of work, but that seeks a light on these issues at the level of urban implantation. As a conclusion, there is a work at microclimate level and the alterations of the urban space to meet the needs of the passers of space with a view to satisfying their interior spaces.
