ERGONOMIA E O CONFORTO INTEGRADO NO ESPAÇO URBANO PAULISTANO
UM ESTUDO DE CASO

This article presents a critical reading of the analysis, under the ergonomics approach, of the urban space in the city of São Paulo based on the research "Evaluation, under the ergonomic approach, of modernist buildings built in. Between 1930 and 1964: external areas" (LUIZ, 2016) and "Thermoacoustic Comfort of Pedestrian in São Paulo and Influence of Other Environmental Variables" (NOVAES, 2015). The analysis seeks to critically discuss the complex perception we have of urban space, which mixes a myriad of variables and incurs the condition of pedestrian comfort, bringing an understanding of the concept of "ergonomics" as integrated environmental comfort. Thus, a set of considerations and observations about the interdisciplinarity of ergonomics is presented here, when it comes to the complete perception of the urban space and its environment, and the need to approach quantitative, qualitative, personal and subjective factors for its comprehension. The reflection is made based on the evaluation of the results found in these projects, obtained through empirical surveys carried out in different periods in the city of São Paulo, including in situ measurements of environmental data and simultaneous questionnaires applied to pedestrians.
