Abstract

ABSTRACT: This study presents an analysis of the electric energy consumption pattern of sixteen military organizations of the Brazilian Army located in the State of São Paulo, with the main purpose of this survey being to assist the decision-making process for the implementation of alternative energy sources. In this way, data on electric energy consumption and demand from these organizations in 2019 are evaluated and associated with information on the number of military personnel, area and typology of each barracks. The results obtained with the aid of knowledge of multiple linear regression make it possible to estimate the energy consumption and demand of military organizations still in the design phase, before its implementation. These data are relevant in designing generation systems from alternative energy sources.
